Producers / Engineers
Seth Canan
As lead producer and engineer at Trojan City Studios, Seth has been a member of the Dayton music community since the release of his band, Seth Canan & The Carriers’, first album in 2016. Seth graduated from Ohio University in 2019 with a bachelors degree of Science in Communication with a focus in Music Production and Audio Engineering. While attending OU, Seth was selected to go on a trip to Austin, Texas where he spent a week studying under Jim Eno, of indie-rock band, Spoon, at his recording studio, Public Hi-Fi where he gained invaluable experience and hands-on training using some of the best gear available in the business. Post graduation, Seth has continued his recording work through a home and a mobile studio. Along with recording for commercial releases, Seth has also helped start up two audio/visual series; One being Hayner House Sessions, featuring acoustic performances and interviews with local singer/songwriters at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center; and Trojan City Limits, a livestream concert series from local music store, Trojan City Music.
Chris Stewart
Chris Stewart is co producer and engineer at Trojan City Studios. Chris was heavily influenced with Music at an early age by his late father, Walter Stewart. At the age of 5, Chris' father gave him his first guitar. From then on he had a love for music and began learning to play. Chris played guitar in a band through high school and helped write and record 3 releases with 3 bands through his music career. Indignation “ The Shoulders of Giants,” (2007) Able Danger “Chaos,” (2014) and May the Sky “Discoveries” (2019) Chris’ love for recording and production began around 2007. Chris began to study music production and continued writing and recording with his own bands. In 2014, Chris enrolled at Full Sail University and started a 2 year study of music business and media arts. Chris started a home studio in 2017 and continued working on projects there until July of 2021, when Chris and Seth Canan decided to partner and combine their home studios into one.
